Lindsay Zwaan is an actress and theater maker who graduated from the Theatre Academy in Maastricht in 2019.
During her final year, she played a role in the theatre play Kras, as part of her internship. Following her graduation, she performed in Vind je dat Normaal? at Maas Theater en Dans as well as in De Memers by Booi Kluiving. In 2023, she reprised her collaboration with Booi in another theatre play called SatisFactory. Later that year, she participated in the Amsterdam Fringe Festival with the performance De Vergadering by Studio Dooie Mus. This play is scheduled to go on tour in 2024.
Lindsay started her journey into on-screen acting in 2012 with the film My Life on Planet B, followed by a recurring role in the popular television series Smeris. Subsequently, she featured in various movies and series including Fissa, Soof, DNA, and Sihame. She took on the lead role in the short film Blauwe Regen, which premiered at Cannes in 2022.
In September, the series Bodem premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival, in which she plays the role of Sally. The series, created by Eva Crutzen, was released on NPO in March 2024.
